Sean McNeill to manage the Tucson Saguaros for the 2020 season

Sean McNeill will be the 2020 Tucso

Sean McNeill will be the 2020 Tucson Saguaros Field Manager. McNeill is no stranger to Tucson he has hosted Spring Training as a visiting team manager there for the the last 3 seasons. He has also played opening day in Tucson as the visiting manager three years in row.

McNeill is from Philadephia and he managed the High Desert Yardbirds in 2019. The Yardbirds were Pacific Division Regular Season Champions despite not being able to play a home game in the month of July. In 2018 McNeill managed the Ruidoso Osos travel team and kept the team in contention into the last week of the season. Hollywood Stars Travel Team in 2017. Sean spent the 2015 season as a player with the Las Vegas Train Robbers before playing the 2016 season with the Salina Stockade.

Tucson Saguaros Wheelchair Softball Team competes in Kansas City

The Tucson Saguaros represented Tuc

The Tucson Saguaros represented Tucson well wearing the Black Saguaros Jerseys and competing at the National Wheelchair Softball Tournament in Kansas City.

The Saguaros finished in 15th place overall with a 2-4 tournament record. This was great success considering it was the 1st tournament for the Tucson Team and only the third game played The Saguaros played with heart and won 2 games over Arizona Diamondbacks, our arch-rival.

The Tucson Team lost 4 games to more experienced teams including the Minnesota Flamethrowers who won Division 2, and a great team of Wounded Warriors from Florida. The two Chicago teams: Cubs & White Sox, also gave the Saguaros a challenge and won with superior hitting and fielding that showed much more practice time.

Bill Rogan named 2019 Tucson Saguaros Field Manager

Bill Rogan has been named the 2019

Bill Rogan has been named the 2019 Field Manager of the Tucson Saguaros. Bill is from Denver and will bring great energy and leadership to the Tucson Saguaros for the 2019 season.

Rogan currently works for the Colorado Rockies Speciality Ticket Sales and resides in Denver. Bill is originally from New York where he played college baseball.

JD Droddy will serve as an assistant to Bill during Spring Training and will assist Bill in recruiting. "This is a great move for the Saguaros for the 2019 season. Bill will be great for the City, the players and the League." says Droddy.
