Perez-Torres brings immediate credibility to the position after an outstanding playing career, highlighted by being named the 2025 Pecos League Most Valuable Player. Known for his leadership, intensity, and deep understanding of the game, he now transitions from star player to dugout leader.

The Roswell New Mexico native is no stranger to the Pecos League as he grew up a Roswell Invaders Fan and attended their games. Gavy joined the Pecos League as a player in 2022 and was a main part of the Saguaros 2025 Championship Team.
