Tucson took a 1-0 lead in the third inning when Gavy Perez-Torres doubled home Connor Kiefer.
The score stayed 1-0 until the bottom of the eighth inning, when Alpine rallied for two runs. Trevor Durr tied the game with a sacrifice fly that scored Luke Hyzdu, and James Prockish followed with an RBI single that brought home Cade Labruyere for the go-ahead run.
